College Football Playoff: The Final Top 25, Playoff Match ups, and the New Year’s Six Bowls

The final College Football Playoff Rankings are officially out and we now know who is going to play in the first every College Football Playoff. Earlier this afternoon the 12-member selection committee released the final rankings, the four playoff teams, and the New Years Six Bowls. As I am typing this the other bowl games are releasing their matchups and once every bowl has released their matchup we will tell you who is playing where. But for now, here is the Top 25 and the New Years Six Bowls.

3. Florida State
4. Ohio State
5. Baylor
6. TCU
7. Mississippi State
8. Michigan State
9. Ole Miss
10. Arizona
11. Kansas State
12. Georgia Tech
13. Gerogia
14. UCLA
15. Arizona State
16. Missouri

As you can see the four playoff teams are Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, and Ohio State. The matchups are as followed:

Rose Bowl (January 1^st at 5 PM): 2 Oregon vs. 3 Florida State

Sugar Bowl (January 1^st at 8:30 PM): 1 Alabama vs. 4 Ohio State

The other New Years Six Bowls are as followed:

Chick Fil A Peach Bowl (December 31^st at 12:30 PM): 6 TCU vs. 9 Ole Miss

Fiesta Bowl (December 31^st at 4 PM): 10 Arizona vs. 20 Boise State

Orange Bowl (December 31^st at 8 PM): 7 Mississippi State vs. 12. Georgia Tech

Cotton Bowl (January 1^st at 12:30 PM): 5 Baylor vs. 8 Michigan State
